Some of the questions that comes to mind when we think of Fiji seeing as we are told that the illegal regime will be sending Komada VB there;
- Do you think Fiji has done well so far under the current military regime?
- Considering that these regime thinks they can do better than elected politicians - what growth has Fiji gained economically?
- What about POVERTY in Fiji? Has the numbers decreased or has it increase after the 'Vuaviri2006' or Coup 2006 by Bainimarama?
- Do you think we must remind Voreqe Bainimarama of the damage he has done to Fiji and its people?
- There are stories emnating that Fiji is littered with migrants of Asian descent lining the banks everyday and are seen to be holding Fiji passport. Do you think as part of Fiji's economic drive - they are now selling passport as if its drugs?
- We hear the regime wants to have a referendum to gauge whether Fiji people wants to have an election or stall it. Do you think its a great idea or just another excuse to stay and enjoy power by these regime?
- Indigenous Fijians are being bullied as the case seems to be - Is it that many new type of churches are spring up everywhere and Fijians in particular are still chasing the best music or the loudest 'vunau' from Talatala who some are saying are really just targetting the pockets and selling the 'Sacred Word' as a commodity?
- Do you think that Ratu Sukuna's Model of 03 legged stool - Vanua, Lotu, Matanitu has now been reduced to two i.e Lotu & Matanitu?

High Level Plenary Meeting of General Assembly
With only five years left until the 2015 deadline to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has called on world leaders to attend a summit in New York on 20-22 September to accelerate progress towards the MDGs.
Coming amid mixed progress and new crises that threaten the global effort to halve extreme poverty, “the summit will be a crucially important opportunity to redouble our efforts to meet the Goals,” he said, referring to the targets adopted at the UN Millennium Summit of 2000, aimed at slashing poverty, hunger, disease, maternal and child deaths and other ills by a 2015 deadline.
“Our world possesses the knowledge and the resources to achieve the MDGs” the Secretary-General stated in his report in preparation for the September summit. “Our challenge today is to agree on an action agenda to achieve the MDGs.” http://www.un.org/en/mdg/summit2010/

Ni Sa Bula
My two cent-worth reading of the situation is this. While Voreqe and Aiyaz have certainly lost a lot of power and influence the situation is still very fluid as the new and old power brokers put forward their list of nominees for the next lot of leaders. They are not under arrest.
There is no way they will relinquish any more power without a bankable amnesty guarantee, of the same value as Steve Rabuka’s amnesty. I wonder if Fiji is ready to pay this price for its ransom
Supposedly those who will take us to democracy and the next elections over the next few months are now being named left and right. Some people
are naming themselves.
I just hope the SDL camp does not put up their same old tired and tiresome lot of candidates that led to this situation in the first place.
If any danger arises it would be from those that stand to lose a lot of money and or power, if there is a return to democracy and supervised
elections.
Also if there is an impasse and they cannot agree and resolve it by the gun. One thing I can say is that it’s very mischievous of embassies, high commissioners and donors etc., to try and put in their nominees.
Vinaka and God Bless!
